Rep Power: 278 Yeah... there shouldn't be hondabond there. Even then, a tap with a mallet will usually do the trick. Use a wooden mallet, or a piece of wood so you don't mar the metal.

Rep Power: 0 really? i move the shifter in and out of gear, its not in the way, its the metal housing near the bolt. the bolt hits it and its almost out. its frustrating cause i dont know if i should try to move/take off the shifter. i dont want to mess things up. arrg
