Slight idle wierdness.

Alright so I just got done putting on my bored TB today. Everything seems to work great. No leaks, no codes, no problems....well kinda. The car idles right around 700rpm which is great. However, when I come to a stop the idle will drop down to around 1000rpm +/- some and then jump up to about 1800rpm +/- some and then drops back down to a good 700 rpm idle. I already did an ecu reset. Is it possible that the computer is still trying to learn, or do I need to try adjusting either the TPS, or idle screw, or if not that then what might be the cause. Any help would be great. Thanks

Where did you send the tb to? If done right, there should not be any idle fluctuation after proper reset of the ecu. I'm assuming you warmed the car, pulled fuse or battery, left car running in idle for 10mins, then turned off. If not, it may be a tps problem. If they changed out the rivets with screws, then you can try and adjust it up and down until it smoothens the idle. That's usually not a good idea tho. The idle screw only raises or lowers the idle, which wouldn't help you in this case.

I sent it to maxbore.com...My initial guess is that the ECU might still be trying to learn. At 7000 ft, I know that with some cars even after a reset the ecu will still need to adjust itself. But thanks man

Well maxbore does put screws on the tps to make it adjustable. But just let it go and see what happens. Also the TB is different depending on whether you have an auto or manual. Not good to mix em.
