ok i was just wondering, is it possible to make the vtec cam like your main came and get an even hotter cam for that. or do you have to buy 2 seperate cams when making them hotter?

yeah irealized how stupid i sounded on this post like an hour after i posted it. what i mean is like can you use the vtec lobes as regular lobes and just get hotter ones for the vtec switch over. or do you just need a new cam, if you can't modify the stock one cause i have an extra d17 vtec cam and i was just wondering if i could do anything with it.

i dotn know of any manufacturer that actually makes like.....performance cams for the D17.....you would have to have them machined and i'm not even sure its worth it unless u have done some very extensive modifications to yur engine.

so you want to put a vtec cam in your lx? is that what your asking still a little confused here.
or do you want to get a better cam? if so take your stock cam out, send it to crower have them re-grind it for you.
