Does anyone know if it is possible to extend a fiberglass spoiler approx 1" longer?...

You cut the spoiler.
Make some type of brace to hold the spoiler together.
Fill in the 1inch space you made with bondo or whatever you use to repair fiberglass.
Lots of sanding and patience.
Then its off to repaint.
