Best type of non-synthetic oil for a So Cali 2k2 owner?

what's the best type of oil for me to use in variable weather conditions (southern california)?

i've spent some time searching the threads and there's way too many opinions. everyone has a different environment it's so hard to come to a conclusion because people always factor in the weather you live in. Also, it doesn't help that most people here use synthetic.

it's been a while since i've visited this forum..

Motorcraft 5w-20. I'm from SoCal and use Redline but I have to give props to MC oil. It works well in our cars and in Ford pickups. It's good stuff.

Synthetic is fine for year round. And the 0w20 will be fine for you year round as well. It is not "to thin."

I use fully synthetic 5w-30.

I use regular unleaded, drive 100+ highway miles each day, 80+mph always on the highway, and jackrabbit starts on surface streets = Avg of 35miles per gallon =)
EDIT: I don't drive like a jack *** and weave through traffic or tailgate. I'm only guilty of speeding, but its so I keep with the flow of traffic on the left lane.
Costco has Mobil Fully Synthetic 5w-30 for less than $25.00 a case.
Super Autobacs has Kendall Fully Synthetic 5w-30 for $20.00 a case.
