Calling Diy Gods )( Buttons!
well heres my question, I want to use my nitrous button as the window lock button, but i want it to work as if when i push the button, nitrous sprays, and as soon as i let go, it stops spraying. Is there any way to wire it up like that? if there is, explain.
Another way i would want to do it is to use the windshield washer sprayer as the button, would there be a way to wire a switch to the car that allows if u have the switch in position 1, the windshield washer sprays out water and when in position 2, its used to spray nitrous? if there is, explain, THANKS!!!

I would not recommend using a factory switch for nitrous. I would highly recommend a covered toggle switch to arm, and a full throttle and window switch for activation.

thats def the safer route, but if u wanna b a hammerhead and have no reguard for safty ur going to have to take the window lock apart to take the piece out that makes it stay down.
but id recomend on the steering wheel cuz if u hit it and hit a bump ur going to need both hands on the wheel to save urself

I must not be reading this right.
You want the window button to also act as your boost control switch???
So you can't roll down the window with out spraying boost???
-OR-
You wanna wire you boost up to you wiper control arm.
So every time you boost your windsheild wiper go back and forth 3 times???
Or are you just saying you want a seperate switch that operates SIMILIAR to the window or windshield switches ???

So every time you hit nitrous your windshield wipers start wiping..
That's funny.
So you'd have to deactivate that switch as well
Sure It's POSSIBLE to do it.
But I don't think anyone on here is going to be of much help.
You're talking about getting into some Deep wiring.
It's a cool concept, but you could really fudge up your car, if you mess it up.
Don't drink and post, you will end up hilarious.

Kalli, you have to understand that the Fast and Furious style "hold the button down" switch is very dangerous. Why? Because when spraying nitrous you NEED to be at wide open throttle. Heres an example
Your racing down the highway and you see a dog on the side of the road, not knowing if he'll dart into the road you reduce to half throttle. But suprise your still spraying nitrous. Not good.
There are many instances where you might not mean to let off the throttle but you do anyway.
Also there are some other things you should consider, how would you make sure that in the wiring process you don't accidently lock the windows? Now since the button is disconnected your windows are permentaly stuck until you fix the wiring
Its obvious you want to hide the button, but there are plenty of other places to put it.

Hey, I was wondering... Is there some way I could have my BRAKE PEDAL act as my THROTTLE PEDAL? But I want to have my throttle still be my throttle, so basically I will have two throttles...
This thread is stupid.
