I honestly though that this website "7thgencivic.com" was formed to bring owner of the 01 + Civic to a single forum so that we can share ideas, experiences, knowledge, experiment new things, exchange manuals etc......
But to every post that I read it always have some f*cker either flaming or just being an ***....
So my question is does anyone have the manual for our cars... If so then I think that there are a lot of member that would like to get a copy of it!!!!

If they have the cd. they could just mail you a copy of it. by creating a cd image from roxio and burning it to a new cd. shiping on that would be like 35 cents lol

So far people have only discussed the helms/chilton/hanyes topic, and then stated that no one here has a Electronic copy.
If people recommend buying the manual from such and such website, then take it or leave it. There is nothing wrong with recommending places to purchase the manual in a thread on that topic.
And lastly don't just flat out ask people to illegally send you copyrighted material on public forums. Try to be a little more discrete, so 7thgencivic.com doesn't start getting hassled for copyright laws.
(Yes I know this isn't Napster and people out there will reply that getting hassled about the copyrights of a repair manual is very unlikely, but that's not the point.)
And Yes, on a forum with over 20,000 user you're going to run into some flamers
*COUGH*MR.MODIFY*COUGH*
But there are still a lot of people on this site who know what there talking about and take the time to help people out all the time.
Gearbox, Grey and tnfaaf being a few.

^^Agreed. Kezay, no one actually flamed you, no one gave a smarta$$ response. In fact, helpful replies were posted in a very timely manner IMO. Nowhere in this site is there anything stated that you would have access to people's service manuals. Plus if I were to pay $$$$ for my service manual, don't you think it's a little unfair to be asking me to send you a copy for free or next to free? If someone is offering it on here out of the goodness of his heart, that's great, but not only does he cheat himself, but it's ILLEGAL and should someone else diligently follow up on it (unlikely but possible), that kind and generous person could end up with a hefty fine, which I'm sure he wouldn't ask YOU to pay. And of course this site's administrators are obligated to remove posts relating to such activity. If I were to get my hands on a copy of my car's service manual, you can bet I worked hard, modded cars, etc etc to get the money for it. You should do the same. If you want it and it costs money, expect to pay for it.

4jacks I am not disputing what you are saying, but the fact of the matter is that if I see another member asking for some info, parts, opinions, etc and I have it. I WILL PM THAT MEMBER AND TRY TO HELP HIM WITH WHAT HE HAS ASKED FOR......
sh*t is that so hard.....
For example I posted a topic a while aback because I wanted to know the size of our flywheel (teeth to teeth) and literally it took very long before someone replied with the answer.. It made me wonder if any f*cking body on this site had changed their flywheel..... but the point that I was getting at is that members are more quick to flame than to help.........

You know what, I've modded stuff on my car that no one knew how to do at the time, and I had to take it apart and learn myself because I found nothing here or ANYWHERE cause my car is Canadian-only and the parts market is US-oriented. So yeah, I had to learn a lot of things myself. And yes, I paid for it by having to buy a replacement part for whatever it is I broke.
I think you'll agree my post was neither malicious or any kind of attack on your character. I'd repeat it to your face cause I believe what I posted was right, and was not posted in anger. But I'll also say your reply to my post was a little juvenile. Come on, do you really expect someone to give you, for FREE, a copy of something that cost him $70? Again, I praise the man who does, but don't be disappointed if no one can accomodate that request. No ill will dude, but everyone above gave you all they could, as I'm sure no one on this thread has a manual to give, and you shoved it back in their faces saying "not good enough".

This is a forum and I'm allowed to say what I wish, just like you're allowed to say what you wish. No need to get nasty about it. I don't think you're in any position to tell me what to do or where to go, so please stop it.

It would be cool if we could save 72$ and have the PDF version. Its some documentation I would like to have. Thanks for the link for the info on where to buy the manual, that could come in very handy.

Please, visit this site.
And spend the $70. There is no way I would take mine and copy every single page of it. Sure, if you need certain information, I'd be more than happy to scan that page. But I simply do not have enough time to scan every single one.

Just curious as to how " learnt " fits into the english language. As I understand
it Learnt means cheifly british past or can be construed as a past participle of Learned.
Learned is a past tense for Learn. So shouldnt it be:
You learned to do so many things on your " Canadian Civic " then come you haven't learned to shut up? I mean you went so far as to use correct grammer by using correct punctuation for "haven't" maybe a step further could have been taken?

1.) Where did C2i0v0i1C get his manual for $48.?????? Now that would be some help...
2.) Can someone who has the manual help me out with the gearbox section of it... That's what I need because I want to rebuild my box.

Oh BTW just though that the smart@ss members who replied with their intelligent answers ....
Take a look at the following link...... http://www.hondahookup.com/manuals/ (now that's help..)
and probably that's why there aren't much parts, options for us as a community (7thGen owners) because we don't want to help each other or stand up as a group..
For example just picture if no one sent their engine to Crower to do R&D then we would have no reputable company making some good **** for our cars...
Something to think about before you reply with your smart@ss answers.
