Hey guys,

I've just changed my brake pads and broken them in. They were changed last month? Anyhow, When I start up my car in the morning (garaged) and when I'm leaving my driving and have to break for a car the brakes seem to squeal. And it always happens when I leave my car outside. For example when I go to work and the car sits there for about 5 hours and as I go home the brakes start to squeak when its applied. anyone have this problem?

my guess would be that when your car sits (even for a couple of hours) a slight layer of rust forms, cuz your rotors are just bare metal. so, when you brake for the first time, your pads are rubbing off the rust, hence squeel. dont worry about it.

ur supposed to put BRAKE PAD ANTI SQUEEK LUBRICANT on the part of the pad that touches the calipers. if you didnt put this stuff on then this is your problem. if not then maybe you need ur rotors resurfaced.

My rear brakes make noise when I pump my brakes at a stop. Why is that?
