i hit 10k miles

i just hit 10k miles
time to do some maintainace.

lets start with power steering fluid.
ONLY honda power steering fluid?
should i do that turkey baster thing, take most of it out and put new fluid in?
or drain all of it out and put all new fluid?

i searched the thread but you guyd didnt give enough info.

10k is awfully early to be changing this fluid but if you insist, the baster method with Honda fluid will work just fine. Stick with the Honda stuff because most auto part stores carry brands that specifically exclude Honda comptability.

I wish I had only 10k on my car... I already have over 80k but my car is a 2k1... I always take it to the dealership for mant. except for the oil changes.

dude, you do not need to change any fluids except for oil until like 60k I think. It will be a waste of time and effort to change your ps fluid now.

yeah i'm at 32,000 miles right now with my 02 and i'm just about ot chagne the tranny oil cuz its lookin nasty

waste of time, but the stuff is about 10 bucks for 3 bottles. you won't need that much even, unless you completely purge the lines. more like 2 bottles.

again, it's a waste.
