Braided Line Fittings?????????
Ok I was thinking about doing braided lines in my engine bay but I dont understand the fittings and the different types and different purposes. I feel dump for asking these questions. But what is a AN fitting and stuff like that. HOw do you determine what size braided line to use? God I just feel really really dumb.

AN stands for Army/Navy. It is a 37 degree taper that seals without o rings or teflon sealant. The hose is a compression fit into a sleeve that is threaded onto the fitting. When someone says -3 or -4 AN it means that they are refering to 3/16" or 1/4". Each -1 is 1/16". So when someone says they are running -6 fuel line, it is 3/8".
