Just installed reverse indiglo gauges. need help
Aight, I followed the DIY and my speedometer does not move. My tach bottoms out at 2000. I don't think the needles are fuked. The red/black wire just provides power right? I have the same gauges that are in the DIY. The only thing I can think of is 1) the needles get stuck because of the new gauge might be hitting the needle preventing it from moving. I did use doublesided tape. and from what I can see the needle or base of the needle is not being obstructed. When I have time I'm going to have remove the whole thing again and drive around stock again to see if the needles are ok.
Anyone have experience with the same problem?

Wait, did you use double sided scotch tape or double sided foam tape ??
I have an 02 , when I did mine, I remebering not having a lot of room to work with.
If you used the foam tape, I think that is the Reason.
I used Very Small Pieces of Single Sided Scotch tape around the edges, the Bezel covers it up and you can't even see it.

OK today the MPH needle moved. So it's getting hung up somewhere. I used 3M doubleside foam tape on the inner bottom edges. I going to have try single side scotch tape when I have a chance. Thanks for the help guys. I'll keep you guys posted.

I just have tape holding my faces on from the edges. Don't put anything between the indiglos and the stock face. Also, you may want to gently and slowly pull the needle out so it has more clearance.

Ok my gauges/needles now work without getting hung up. The indiglos were like this (
tilt head to the left. Thanks gearbox for pointing me in the right direction the indiglo was not perfectly flat. I had to use a small amount of scotch tape to hold it down. I still need to trim a small white part on top of the fuel gauge. I'll post a pic in my gallery when I take a pic.
Again Thanks for the help Gearbox and 4Jacks.
