Throttle Body Bore??

I have an 02 Lx and am considering boring out my throttle body. I have a friend who has an eclipse who is doing this and says it is cheap and a very good mod move. Does anyone have experience with this? Let me know what kind of gains I should expect and if it is worth 200 bucks.

It's a bad idea if you don't have turbo. I got one but sold it after losing alot of low end power. The car would bog when you try and floor it. You can't have too big or the air won't be fast enough. I had mine done by a pro at maxbore.com

Alright cool man. I was thinking that but i just wasn't sure and i'm not into spending for a turbo. I just started modding, so a turb could be a future thing haha.
