I had my car smogged today,it failed,im a gross polluter..
Does anyone know a honest mechanic in san diego who doesn't rip u off!
Or any tips on what to repair to make it pass?
The engine is a stock V-Tech,greedy cat back exhaust

Take the phone out from under the hood, put the engine back in. Then see if you pass. Those damn dirty phones will get you every time.

I didnt know greddy made a greedy exhaust? LOL
I didnt pass the gas cap pressure test. A bit different, but still failed.

Ok, I'd try the O2 sensor first. It's the cheapest. Usually any honda that's tuned up, (new plugs, cap, rotor) should pass. Even the carburetted ones.
Then check O2 sensor, and last the cat. 96's werent that complicated.
Cat back shouldn't change ANYTHING.
