why are you painting your calipers black? They are already dark, so black wont make much of a difference. Should paint them red, yellow, or something that can be seen.

Also painting the edges of the rotors is another waiste of time if you are using black. You can do it, but no point.

i think it looks sick. I did mine black....and no, the calipers aren't already a dark color. They're silver (metal) but are caked in brake dust. The shiny black looks good.

i did mine a while ago in red, but i didnt liek how that looked, so recently i just painted them a glossy black so they look good. i would recommend painting them black to everyone even if they dont want to, just to protect them from rust

**** I would do mine, but one I have stock hubcaps, and second my calipers are caked with brake dust from these performance pads, and would do the same with them painted.

Last thing you want to do is trying to make tiny small caliper visible to others.
I've had red calipers, bad idea

Paint them black.
. Use caliper paint, you can get those from any automotive stores locally.
. Also buy caliper cleaner, use it before you apply any caliper paint on calipers.
. Take time, wait at least 25mins between each coat.

.I applied 4 coats and turned out great.

Now what are you supposed to do if your calipers are caked, and I mean caked with brake dust? I bought caliper cleaner and used 2 whole bottles on my calipers, and that **** didnt come off.

BTW, I still think a color other then black would look better.
