O2 sensor problems
I just put a new header on my lx and it now has no catalytic converter, and i am noticing a lot of grayish white smoke when i start in first and as i shift. i took it to the dealer and they said it was just that i had no cat conv and so the fuel was rich, but i have a friend who has the same exact car and did the same exact mod and has had no problems. it seems to me like the old cat conv may have just been masking an existing problem. any help would be great

The smoke should go away after a little bit. Keep driving around and it should go away.

its actually a light oil coating to keep the chrome clean and when it burns it leaves a coating on it to help protect the exhaust.
