Need some quick help installing my hayames...stripped bolt...

Hey everyone, ok i was working on getting my coils off but when i tried to get off that screw that attaches the coils to the brake line then i couldnt get it. Then i kept on trying to get it off but now its stripped, it should be a 12mm socket but it wont work now and ive tried with all of my tools, and i have no idea wtf to do. Someone please help, thanks.

Grind a slot into it with a Dremel and use a screwdriver.

Easiest way, I did it too... Get your favorite CORDED drill (Unless you've got an 18+ Volt Cordless) and a set of bits suitable for metal... drill the head off. It probably takes about a 3/16-1/4 Bit, then stick a screwdriver on the side of the head and smack it, it should snap off. If I remember right the replacement was a standard M8x1mm bolt.
I don't like the idea of a cutting disc right next to the brake line... you don't want it slipping.

you could also file two flat sides on the head and use vise gripes to get it off

or cut a square edge on the head of the bolt with a dremel, then take a gator grip to it...

I would have never thought that bolt would strip though... the torque on that bolt is minimal
