Foglights?
Anybody bought fogs off of Ebay?
I'm looking for a reputable place that sells decent stuff, and stands behind what they sell. I'm sure I can manage the install, but need good-fitting lights & kit with instructions.
Any help appreciated.

Autobarn.com...buy the Hella 1150's...they are only $45 and work great, I have a pair of them on my Altima...for that matter, any of the Hella Fog Lights are great...install is simple if you know what you are doing
...good luck!
I am considering the same thing for my daughters coupe. I e-mailed several and got replies that most sellers did not know anything about the lights they were selling. One that goes by TimTim ? said that his were made By DEPO which I know makes alot of aftermarket lighting for the collision industry. They seem to be fairly good products, so I think Im gonna give them a shot and buy through that seller.

I just installed fogs I bought off of EBay. They seem to be of good quality. All the parts were in the package and very easy to install. Follow the DIY on the site and you should be just fine
Tornactive's price is 109 plus shipping totals out at almost 130. The lights appear to be Depo also. TimTim 2002 on e-bay buy now is 69.95 plus 18.95 shipping . Good price, good response, and good feedback on e-bay.
Well the lights arrived and all seemed to be in order, until I went to make the last connections at the fuse block. The instructions show a 1 pin and a 4 pin connector on the wiring harness, but the harness has two 1 pin connectors. After many unanswered e-mails to TimTim he finally responded that he just sells the kit and he knows nothing about it.( So much for his quick replies before the sale!) The DIY on this site shows the correct 2 connectors plugged into the fuse block, and this is the same DEPO kit I purchased it just appears to be terminated incorrectly at the plugs. At any rate this seems to be a good kit if you get it manufactured right. So I guess unless TimTIm makes good on this problem I would stay clear of doing business with him. I will let you know how I make out.
yea, there shouldnt be two 1 pin connectors, maybe you can find a connector somwhere like maybe at radio shack. im sure you can get one at the honda dealer, but hey might charge a bundle. i had oem style fogs but the button didnt fit. dealer want $30 bucks for an oem button. heres my oem style fogs from DEPO. too bad they are not DOT approved hehe.

Yeah it has to be a 4 pin even though only 1 wire is used. It taps the far right terminal that is only hot when the headlamps or park lights are on. So much for TimTim2002 and e-bay, he won't answer e-mails once the sale is made. I may take this up with Depo since they are the ones letting fly by nights sell their products on the internet with no after the sale support. Them and the California attorney general, since thats where they came from.
Well after many e-mails to TimTim he seems to be trying to sort this out. He can't seem to understand the problem so he requested pictures. I do not believe he has ever encountered a problem like this before, and he is totally unfamiliar with what he is selling(not a good combination). So I will give him a chance to make it right.
Well it turns out that all of the lights he has in stock have two of the same ends instead of the 4 pin connector. I requested that he contact his supplier to find out what the deal is with that , and again no response. So I would have to say that if you buy lights go somewhere else!

DEPO's directions are horrible. Just letting you know ahead of time. If you want to install the foglights correctly, get the OEM foglight installation directions from handa (search for them). The connections that I had trouble with were the ones that went through the firewall (DEPO said to go through the side of the fender) and the wire that connected to that connection. I went through the fender and the connection was short about 2 feet, so I had to extend it. Everything is working fine, though.
I purchased my kit from procarparts.com on ebay.

I bought fogs on ebay the oem style ones, they broke the first day I got em.
Your best bet, buy fogs on ebay, have em shipped directly to impulse, have him convert the bulbs to yellow nad make lexan covers for em so they dont break. The lights will cost you about $65 and Impulse charges $70, your best bet because either oem replica or oem the lenses will shatter on you, especially if you live somewhere with a lot of snow and salt trucks, like bloody toronto

i bought ebay fogs by depo for $60, they were oem replica. also they are not dot approved, but i doubt anyone would care. they work well, the bulbs were philips. if you have an 02 civic, the button will not fit correctly. i have an 02, i filed the hole for the fog lighgt swtich and epoxy glued it in. ive seen 04 replicas for $80 once.

the lexan glass conversion + ebay fogs are about the same price as OEM, but will be a better product.
perhaps in orlando you dont have to worry about salt trucks and winter debris

I have oem fogs. Ebay now has H11 bulbs that are yellow!! I bought two pair. They are super bright! Not the faded halogen look. 1000x better than the ones from supreme power parts. No need for a capsule (sorry). Although the lexan cover is worth it.
