Motorized rear seats?

Everyday I have to drop my rear seats down (subs) in my coupe and it's a pain in the ***! Either have to crawl into the back of the coupe and use the key or do it from the trunk. So I was thinking... what if I hooked the seats into some sort of motor that would slowly lower them with a push of a button?? I'd have disable the lock somehow also. But just imagine getting into your car and with the push of a button the rear seats lower... then when you get to your destination just push the button and up they go. Has anyone even done this or thought about doing this before? How would YOU go about?

Why would you need to fold down the rear seats for the subs? The bass travels through the seats.

I take it you don't own subs? You can hear the subs with the seat up... but it's a lot clearer without the huge obstruction right there (the seat). Also you don't have to turn it up as much resulting in less rattling (even with dynamat and stuff because I like it loud ;P )

itd be funny if you find a way to motorize the rear seats (that part would be cool) and you accidentally hit the button or whatever when you got people sitting in the back and the seats are trying to close on them.. hehe..

I'd use a couple of light-duty linear actuators, with a control switch mounted under your dash. Might be a bit pricey, but damn - that'd be cool.

thats a good idea, yeah the bass hits much harder when the seats down, or try gutting the back of your coup and see how much more the bass hits
