Just wondering what years are the same body. Specifically compared to the 2004 civic. Are 2001-2003's the same as an '04? Bumpers? Headlights? ETC. Thank you.

7th gen civics consist of any and all civics made from 2001-2004. Most likely, 2005 will be a 7th gen as well. 8th gen civics will probably start being made in 2006, but you never know.

In 04 they changed the bumpers and headlights and hood. Same engine, same frame etc...

Will the '01-03 bumper, light, hood and fender combination all bolt up to an '04? Just bought an '04 with front damage and am trying to find replacement light, bumper, hood and fender. Cant find anything for the '04 so please tell me you guys have good news. This is sort of a budget project so am trying to get quality parts for fairly cheap.

Yeah, It should bolt right up If you use the all the above listed parts together. I was actually thinking about converting my 02 to an 04 front/rear end but it's just not worth the money and time for me. But you should be able to find the 01-03 parts muche easier, especially since so many people have body kits.

also the 04 has the Honeycomb plastic grill, im not sure how much different it is but the hood latch extends on top of it.. also being that the lights are different does that mean that projectors made for an 03 will not fit my 04

^^^Ever heard of searching or just looking at the two different headlights? No nothing headlight wise from 01-03 will fit an 04. Also the honeycomb is only on coupes.

for 2004, i think the armrest is new. mine came with one. i could be wrong though.

Lights, bumpers, guages, interior trim, tweaked suspension, rims, tires are all new to the 04 Civics.

Lights esp. for sedans have been changed in 03, the guages, suspension, interior trim material and armrest also has been changed in 03.

The wheel covers and rims were changed in 03 as well.

04 models also recieved new wheel covers and rims. The 04 got bridgestone tires where as 01-03 got the firestones.
