How to remove throttle cable?

Does anyone know how the throttle cable and cruise cable come off the TB? It has some kind of pin holding it.

Are we talking about where they connect to the TB? if so It should just be hooked in there. I haven't really taken a look at it but if no one else knows I should be able to tell you by 1PM PDT.

Okay cool. I'm swapping the TB tonight hopefully. But it's where the cable connects to the TB. Almost like it needs a special tool.

pull the throttle body all the way open and push the lil barrel on the end of the wire out until it clears the cable

Yeah just what I thought It is just like a little hook. Just like Civichxtream said all you need to do is puch the little barrel out of where it is hooked. A small flat head screw driver will be really helpfull.

Thanks guys, I got it out. However, the cable was really loose on the new TB. The adjusting nut is almost maxed out to make it tight enough. But I think it will work.

Interesting. So why did ya get a new TB anyway? Hey, I did tighten mine today and really think it helped. I didn't drive all that much but I do notice more response. I'll get a better feel for it once I get back to work on Monday and do more driving. I'm on vacation this week!

But thanks for the advice on tightening that up. I was very loose! I think this will do the trick.

Correct. There were no other mods, and it was only $100, so I sent it in.

It did actually make a little difference with my setup. It's almost 4mm bigger than stock and the work was professional.
