stock air box
hey guys, i started unscrewing the air box cover yesterday to clean the filter. anyway, i probably tightened it too hard last time so when i tried unscrewing it, the plastic holders for the screws cracked. 4 in total. now i can't get the cover off. what should i do? is there any way the dealer can fix it under warranty? or do i need a new airbox? and where can i get one for cheap?

Rep Power: 0 Wow, same thing just happened to me. I bought a replacement airbox, I figured I was out of luck on the warranty. You might check in the For Sale/Trade forum here, that's where I got my replacement parts fo' cheap.

This happened to alot of people. I got a new airbox from another member and had to break the old one to get the filter out. Just hand tighten the screws next time.
