Rep Power: 0 Lowering Automatic Shift Rod?
Hey i bought a momo automatic shift **** and i put it on a little while ago and noticed it wasnt as low as i would like it, you can see the metal rod that it attaches onto very clearly for like 6 inchs, is there anyway maybe to cut it or somehow to get the shifter lower? ive seen a few cars in the member gallerys with really low shift ***** compared to mine. Does anyone know what to do? Thanks.

Rep Power: 0 I am not familiar with the automatic transmission shifter itself. Maybe you could email those guys cars you see at the galleries and ask them about it. Otherwise, if it was a manual, you could remove the shifter and have a machine shop cut a couple inches off the tip. I'm not too sure about the automatic tranny though, I dont think you could do it becuase the shifter might be a part of the transmission. (taking the shifter out means taking the transmission apart)
