when are you supposed to change your tranny fluid and **** i heard 15 and 50 grr so which is it

Nah, I have an auto with 29k. I believe you should do it around 75k...

15k is ridiculously early, its not like changing ur oil! Its like a once or twice throughout the car's life kinda thing!

I had 86K on my 2001 when I traded it in with original fluid... 5-speed....

Maybe 60k?

Boilermaker1 is a splendid one to behold

Manny tranny is on the 30s I believe.... but its so cheap, doing it every 15 wouldn't break the bank or be a bad thing. I did mine about 25K and it was pretty dirty, but I'm a little hard on it.. so I'll be doing it about 20 this time.

deciuss is an unknown quantity at this point

i did my auto tranny fluid at 20k and there where mettle bits and stuff in the fluid and it was really dirty.

I changed my ATF at 2,500k and 5,000k to get out the break in metal shavings...I will change it every 15,000k just cause the fluid is cheaper than a new tranny...ATF is used to cool as well as lube...unlike manual tranny fluid.
