Fellow 7th Gen's our crankshaft fits into the older civics (D16Y8) perfect..
This is what I like to see , lots of frankenstein work.. here's the link to it.

hehe they are suggesting gx pistons... its been tried... doesnt work.. compresion ratio is too high

also.. the deck height might be a tad too tall as well, if you use the same rods, the pistons are gonna be banging

yea, but that was done by the infamous "chrissy" a while back ago. We all know he/she/it was a liar who never worked on a car before.

as long as we're on the topic of D17 internal engine specs ie- deck height/piston cc's/head chamber cc's/etc, anybody know where to get these specs? I looked in the factory svc manuals, but no good- only tolerances, that kindof stuff...

anyone?
