How to hook up wire to constant 12v line
Now, I know that I sound like an idiot talking about this stuff, but I am just ignorant. Everytime I read something about wiring up for power it speaks of wiring up to a fused source.
I have a trunk popper that just needs power (going to a relay which switches from positive to negative or the other way around) and everything I read says that all you have to do is wire it up to the constant 12v source.
Will someone please help me out with explaining where this is (a picture might help too) and how to hook a wire up to this source.
Help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Well a constant 12V source is your battery. The fuse goes between the power line, not more than 1-2feet from the battery.
battery----(fuse)-----------------device-----chassis ground for device.
--- is the power wire
