What am I to do Now!?

Okay...

Does anybody have any ideas on how to remove a screw that was tightened to tight and broke IN the hole it was supposed to go in?

This is a big bummer. I was putting my car's rear seats back in, and I was tightening one of the screws that holds the right back cushion in.

BAM...it snapped in half. Of course, the bad part is it's stuck in there, and I can't get it out, and I need that screw to support the rear.

What in the world am I gonna do?

Please give suggestions/ideas on how to fix this.

Thanks.

Won't that damage the thread around the screw?

So I just take a drill and...well, drill away? I guess let it "fall" into the hole?

If it is an open hole if you get another screw you should be able to screw it through. Although this would mean that you would have a half a screw rolling anounr in your floorpan. But, I personaly would get the back out kit from Sears that macko sugested, but ask a sales rep to make sure that it will do what you need it to do.

Thanks guys.

I'll go to sears and see what they can do for me.

Does the screw have to be a particular size for this "back out kit" to work?

Thanks.
