do i really have to remove the bumper in my 2001 civic Coupe?

I had someone else replace them last time and of course when i asked how they did it they had went home for the day.

i tried searching to no avail. slow dialup.

haha, i remember two months ago when i was learning how to take out the headlight and the bumpers..

you might want to do a better search..

go to the DIY section, under Lighting..

there must be a DIY about "Clearing headlight + removing front bumper"

The headlight bulbs? Or the whole assembly? The bulbs come out through the back and don't need to be done with the bumper off... read the manual for those
For the headlights you need to have the bumper off or at least the top of it undone. Theres 4 poppers on top, 1 screw in each fenderwell, 2 screws and 6 poppers underneath.
