removing stock headlights

Do you absolutely have to remove the front bumper to get the headlights off? Seems like a lot of work to put in new headlights.

I've taken off the headlights a few times and it'd be really hard to take them off without removing the bumper, cuz there are the brackets connecting the headlights to the car.. its right under the headlight, its a 10mm, and the bumper is easy to remove.

Actually, if you just let the bumper hang you can reach under the side right under where the fender hangs and you can unscrew the side screw that holds the under bracket, then you can get a long extension and unscrew the one that olds the under bracket closer to the grille. It's REALLY easy if you take off the upper grille when you do it. I have heard people with altezza grilles have it easier. In all honesty, you can take the headlights off without removing the bumper, but realize that if it's your first time.. you should just for the experience.
