Question Can someone help me with my exhaust rattling problem?

I have a kamikaze header and magnaflow exhaust on my 02 civic lx and the midpipe of the exhaust rattles against the metal heat shield underneath the car sometimes and it's very noticeable and embarasing at times. i think one of the problems is that the stock header had a brace that attached somewhere to keep it held in one place and now with the new header and no brace it shakes more and you can really tell it shakes bad because the muffler shakes alot. any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

I just had my pipe re-bent cause it was smashed. I actually had it done yesterday. Mine only made noise when it rained though so I don't know if the problem is fixed.

Yea my Magnaflow has the same rattle. It sounds like a popcorn kernel hitting a metal can. I think the downpipe vibrates against the front stabilizer bar. I only hear it at idle though.

^I have the same problem...... only when I am going up hills. I even header rapped it thinking that would help it from the noise against the heat shield....
I gave up and now I am looking for a new exhuast setup

iamboo is on a distinguished road
find where it rattles between the heatsheild and the pipe... then find a nice slab of rubber and slap it in between... that's the quick fix... if you can, go and ask your muffler guy to re bend the pipe for you if the exhaust system is custom... do not rip off the heat sheild... they put it there for a reason...

Somethign to do with the rain cooling the hot metal so fast the metal changes shape enough to beat off the underside of the car. My tube bender guy thought I was crazy and just rebent my pipe for my clearance. Has not rained yet for me to try it out.
