HID help(projector don't bother)

Hey, is there anybody who installed HID kit in factory Civic 01+ housing and still getting good results? I really want to see the picture outside from near the headlight to see how the bulb is mounted cuz i ran in these problems:

1. The beam is always yellow.
2. The top of my reflector reflects a great amount of white color(and it's a very bright shadow) and all other areas are yellow.
3. The cut off seems nice in front of the headlight, but when driving on the freeway, still blinds.

I have an adapter that covers the high-beam section of the reflector.

You need to adjust the headlights. There's a place where you stick a philips screwdriver in the headlight assembly and it allows you to adjust the height of the light beam. You might have a 4100 k bulb that may be why it's yellow. The higher in kelvin you go the color changes. You might loose light output to sacrifice for the color you want.

you need more than adjusting the headlights. i had h4 hid in oem headlights and it sucked big time. like you said, there was no light 5 ft. in front of the car and the glare was horrible. better kits have a more precise focal point so the beam is better. as for the yellow maybe you have one of those generic korean or ebay kits.

I have Osram OEM Xenarc 66050 with OEM(unmodified) base and Philips Hella ballast. Also, I have the kit that put the "light source" in the H4 fillament location. I wonder if I have to move the bulb more toward the reflector in order to get the light whiter.
