Is the exhaust size different between LX and Ex 04?

If so, a cat back would yield more gains on the LX? so an axle back system would be cheaper and probably better on an EX since the stock piping is allready larger- the gains on the full catback probably wouldnt be as noticable. Just trying to save a few dollars.

even though they say we dont get alot of horses from a full cat back on the ex ...i think you can still feel a positive change in power specially with 2 1/4 in. piping ...and full cat back sounds a whole lot better if you ask me ...thats my opinion...

Oh my god, why do you people ask these questions like "will this EX mod fit on my DX"?? Just buy what is made for your car, simple as that

Look an after market full cat-back exhaust is your best bet. Now I've heard the HKS rear section (Hi Power is it??) yields the same numbers as a full cat-back, BUT you have to think down the road.

Say you get more mods on your car, then that stock piping going to the rear section is still going to constrict more than if you had a full cat-back.

So will you notice a difference between an axle back on EX vs an axle back on DX, probably not unless you have some serious mods; which in that case, you should have a full cat-back exhaust with high flow cat.

Hope that helps.

i guess ill just unbolt the pipe at the axel and gauge the gains. Less restrictive than either one i suppose.
