Side marker exact placement

Is there anyone who knows exactly how far from the side and top on the fender the side marker on our cars should go? I want to have the side markers as close to perfect as possible and if anyone has measurements of Jdm/euro-spec side marker placement, could they please tell? Or perhaps a picture and measurements of how far away from the side (closer to doors) and top (closer to hood) on the fender their side markers are? Any and all help is appreciated, thanks!

The DIY says 1 inch over on each side. Don't know if this is exact. Try and find someone who has an Australian Civic, because those come stock with sidemarkers.

I went with 1" and 1" too. Mine look fine where they are.

I ended up going 1'' down from body line and 3'' away from side. I had a picture of a euro civic with the side markers and mine match it exactly now. I'll post pics if I ever get a hold of a camera.

there is no such thing as a JDM 7th gen civic, now you can find parts to add to your 7thgen but true JDM parts arent available for our vics

There aren't JDM civics perse. None coupe in japan. In China, Thailand, etc you can find civic ferio's which are as JDM as it gets for us; however, those are all sedans. If you are lucky enough and willing enough, you can try to find someone in Thailand to trade dashes, steering columns, trannys, etc with you to get the RHD effect. Recaro's would never come on a ferio, so those are bought as well. Pretty much everything about the above car is put together piece by piece by the owner. Not by factory. As for the side marker placement, it's 1 inch down, 3 inches from side. I know this because I went to Lebanon recently before I had done my own side markers and took a picture of it and then later called the owner of that ride to get him to measure it for me.
