i did this... i wanted to have halos in my tycs.. The rod is too thick, and will not fit. IMO will look ugly in OEM housing...
If you want to have halos in TYCs my suggestion would be to go to pepboys buy some cheap "halo" foglights... Break them, take the halo out, and that will be a perfect size (from what i have heard)

I do them for $150, includes S+H, i do them on the TYC Projectors, they look tite, if u want pics, email me. It's pretty labor intensive, so many do not do it themselves, plus it's crucial with the lens seperation etc. If interested, let me know.
