How to check timing on our cars?

I know we can check timing using timed light on the older Vic's that has spark plug wires. But what about ours? Who can provide instruction on how to check ours?

Induction timing lights will still work - just connect the inductive clamp around the low voltage wire that leads to the coil pack of cylinder #1, works great!
