Ahh, yeah i think they are talking about full coilovers. You have just adjustable height springs. They really need to stop calling those things coilovers.

If you don't have the full coilovers, I would waste your time. I made the mistake of dropping my vic with them. I went 2" to start and I was bouncing so bad going down the highway that I actually hit my head on the roof.
When I got back home I raised it back to stock height and it wasn't quite as bad, but why replace the springs if you have to ride stock.
I'm sorry to tell you this as I'm sure you're looking forward to dropping your car, but you won't like it very much if you use those sleeved coilovers. I learned that lesson the hard way. If you can, send them back to whoever you got them from and save up for some full coilovers. You'll be MUCH happier with them. There may be some things you can cut a few corners on, but I don't think suspension is one of them. Sorry.
Oh, and to answer you question. There should be some DIY's around here that will help you get your struts apart and whatnot if you still want to do it.

Here's one of the DIY's I was talking about. I found this most useful, but I don't know that I'd recommend the stand on the spring approach. http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...threadid=86545
