does anyone know the spec on our stock camshaft and the older civic stock cam shaft? will they older one fit our car? i got a older stock civic cam shaft (the 93 civic si one) and wanted to try it but need the spec on the cam shaft to see if it is better than our cam shaft.

I highly doubt that it would fit. But if you want specs on a D17 camshaft:

End Play: 0.05-0.15mm
Camshaft-to-holder oil clearance: 0.050-0.089mm
Total Runout: 0.03mm

VTEC intake secondary: 32.848mm
VTEC exhaust: 38.784mm
