DIY servicing

Anyone here does their own engine oil change ? Is it necessary to jack the car up to remove the oil filter or can it be removed/installed from the engine bay ? Also is it necessary to remove the coolant drain bolt located next to the oil filter when doing a coolant change ? Can I not remove that bolt and simply just drain the coolant in the radiator by loosening the drain plug located under the radiator ?

Has there been a full DIY Service thread yet? I'm curious as to what all of the lubrication points are.. I called Honda regarding the Type D service and I'm not ready to pay out the ***.. They said lubrication was included so I've kinda wondered so I can do this myself! Thanks in advance!

Okay DIY completed. Just had to remove the front driver side tire to access the oil filter through the wheel well. No need to crawl under the car what so ever. Much safer in my opinion.
