Push button switch question

Okk I've read most of the push button DIYs that my eyes will allow, but I still have a question.

The methods used require switches and relays, isn't it possible to just buy a s2k push button and wire it to the ignition wires? I'm wanting to use the key insertion method, then push the button to start the car, starting the car with the keys will not work..only the button and was gonna hide the button in a conspicuous spot. So tell me if it's possible to not use the relays and extra switches to do this mod...thnx

ACTUALLY.... that sounds like a really cool idea.

The key method combined ith the s2k push button. It acutally is a low level secuirty system that could cofuse the hell out of a theif if he doesn't know where the button is in a dark car.

YES, it is possible..

I know it is because my buddy did it on his Tiburon. He's had a few combos where instead of pushing the clutch down you push a button. I'm 99% possitive you can do the same thing to our cars, I don't see why not.

Yeah it should'nt be that hard. Just a little electrical work and wiring a switch up. Where are you going to place the s2k button ?

I don't know yet, I want to be able to see it cause what's a cool looking switch if u can't see it right? but I want to to hide it so no one knows where it's at, I'm thinking maybe in the small glove compartment part.

no that's usually when we think of hiding spots, that's the first place that comes to mind...so I would try somewhere else...I was talking about the long small compartment right behind the e-brake...u know...the place where u can't fit jack crap?
