jet is worthless, they cant really do anything important i asked them at SEMA, the guy said the emanage can over ride ne thing they could do to it, the only thing we need to have done to the ecu is remove the fuel cut

Chip ugrades/S-AFC/V-AFC 2 - I have a question. Can any of these offer hp gains to a normally aspirated (with Intake/Header/Exhaust) D17? I know with the latter two, you can adjust your fuel curve (and VTEC timing on one of them I think), but does this translate to more power?

which is better ? people say its cool and some say its not i wanna know if its worth the 200 bux or so to get it done , or should i just get a Sfac and put my car back on the dyno and move my cam gear again to get that lil better gain ?
It is a car, you are putting additional stress on the engine. Pre-mature engine wear. So, depends on how you look at it. Yes, or no depending on how much you value your car.
- Diemos
EDIT: Besides, there is a point at which a car stops developing more horsepower and torque. The added stress would not be worth the minimal if any additional power gained.

How much would it be to remove the fuel cut?? And is it safe for our engines if your shifting at 7500 or more during a race???

the question is: is it worth reving past redline???? our torque peaks at 4800 RPM, redline is 7,000? that means that past 4800 rpm we are accelerating slower and slower and slower untill the point that the acceleration in the current gear would be less then the acceleration in the next (which is where you want to shift). So, where is this point, before 7,000 rpms or after?
Oh ya, I have an EX Peak torque is at 4800 for the rest its at 4500.
Personally I dont think theres any worth to not having a revlimiter (On a stock engine i.e. one with out internal modification or forced induction. Headder and intake dont count).

Redline is usually limited primarily due to such things as connecting rod stretch, weak cast pistons, and floating valves. You can run any engine past its redline. The question is what fails first and what are the consequences. Best case you bend a valve or two. Worst case you send a rod through the side of your block.
Unless you put together a forged bottom end, I wouldn't mess too much with removing rev limiters. You can do it on a stock engine, but why.
You can run 10 grand on a I4 or even a V8, but you better have it put together right.

I have the jet upgrade on my car it did nothing but fuc up my air fuel ratio i had it on the dyno at to different shops they both said the same thing they messed your ecu up so i called them and they said they cant do anything else so in the end im fuced

so anyways NO, and the ones on ebay are REALLY not worth it, bc if they aint JET, then i dont think there is ne thing else that they make and JET wouldnt be selling them on ebay

If you want ECU work done, call Hondata and see what they can do about a custom ECU reflash for you. And until you have some Valve train work done, you can not rev much high than stock redline.
