my intake knocks on my strut bar
I put in an intake and a strut bar not sure the brand of the strut bar or intake i bought them at a local speed shop, its not really relavent though the point is im trying to get rid of the knock that the two create. It is quite annoying especially when its cold it feels like the cars teeth are chattering any advice theres pictures if you click on my ride and i have a piece of rubber that helps a little but not alot. Thanks

you can do one of 2 thinkgs the first would be grab the middle of the bar and pull hard enough to put just a slight bend in it. yes it is possible. you will need to create about an inch of clearance.
or buy a DC or Neuspeed strut bar. both of these will clear any intake.

or, you can stick a piece of silly putty or something in between your intake and strut bar so it pads the knocking of the 2.. or something that can take hi-temps...

don't buy parts from a local speed shop. they stock the crappiest, most generic parts. The only strut bars that will fit with intakes are the DC sports one and the Neuspeed one, and neuspeed is the one of choice because it is stronger than DC sports.
i agree. Ditch your strut bar and get the Neuspeed. $91.20 on www.tornactive.com with our discount.

return them both tell them they dont fit.
Also its BAD for your intake manifold to be banging against the strut bar. If you want to keep them then your going to have to bend the bar's brackets and just move it foward. Check my members rides pic's for a pic.
I no longer have that bar, well actually yes i do but now its bolted to the trunk.
