I finally got the courage to do this today. Turned out nice, even though I had to get some APC ones from advance auto parts. They have clear bulbs in them and stay on whenever the parking lights are on. Looks sweet. I'll have installed pics later.
This site is way cool, and my car would never be where it is now if it wasn't for you members. Thanks so much!

I used a drill to open a hole, then made it bigger with the sheet metal nibbler. I'm scared cause the touchup paint I put around it isn't sticking very well.
what i did was put electric tape over where i wanna drill, and used one of those circle bits that drill a perfect hole the size u want, but i did mine on the side of the front bumper, as to not get hasseled by cops for my clear lights

Is was fairly easy overall, just takes time. I have to change some wiring tomorrow. Just follow the original DIY. I drilled lots of smaller holes and made it big enough to fit the nibbler in. Then I just used it to cut off small chunks until the side-marker could go in.

Those smoked ones look nice. Are you changing out the bulb, or leaving it amber?

Correct. . ^^^ That's what I don't like mostly, the fact you can't take them off. . Well. . You can, but it wont be pretty..
I was going to do it a long time ago when I first got my car, but then I knew if I didn't like it. . No going back. . So I didn't do it.

Sorry, no orange on my ride. Although I've seen some where they look good. For the wiring, I would go over the fenders--that's the easiest way.

Hey thanks AR. Glad to get your approval. I kind of was hoping to make them stay on AND blink, but it only does one or the other.

I have the same exact sidemarkers with hyperwhite bulbs on my sedan as well, took me about an hour and a half to install them and I have mine wired up to where they come on with the runnin and headlights, but I want them to do both too, but dont know how? Let me know if you can find out how...Thanx man, and your ride looks awesome.
