JCiv03 is on a distinguished road
yea im guessing,... take it off, sand it down, prime it, paint it, and reattach with some 3m double sided tape... just a guess...

sand it, it works fine, i did it and it's been on for years, no need for double sided tape, it mounts w/ hardware

It's very easy to do it, take off the chrome piece, a few screws and soem clips then paint it with krylon paint, that's whut i did, my car's silver and i used like an Si blue, it looks clean has been on for about a year and has'nt faded or cracked or anything......and I doubt that piece is real chrome...i think it's like plastichrome

better way:

1) sand it as much as you can; try to get the chrome plating off
2) I used this extremely thick primer specifically designed to bond to metals; only comes in brush-one (waaaaay too thick for spray) That helps the paint bond to the very slippery chrome
3) the rest is just normal painting. Be sure to put on a clearcoat.
