Autometer Tach hook-up question!



Alrighty. i have the tach all wired except the last one which is the blue wire the one that makes the tach work. where do u wire that into? some poeple said into the back of the stock gague cluster and otehr said theres a wire in the engine some where. if u know please let me know. thanks

open the hood.. near the battery you will find a wire with a plug like end to it.its plugd into noting. I think its blue.. tap into that.. its more near the fender

Exactly. I installed my tach a long time ago. See pics under MEMBER RIDES. Anyways, the wire is right there. Looking at the car with the hood open, it is to the left, right behind the battery. You will see a plug there. I think the wire is actually blue. Since I know peeps at the dealer, I actually got them to give me a harness that allowed me to tap right into there. MY AUTOMETER works great. Simple to do.
