what cars are slower then our civic

i was thinking and i couldnt think of any cars that a stock civic could smoke. are there any? and i dont mean like buses and stuff, just regular cars that are availible to u and me

probably the low-end kias and hyundais, but i'm not sure. and the scions (i think) are pretty weak--at least, they have 1.5-liter engines...

btw, how come toyota has the "technology" or whatever to put a 1.8-liter DOHC engine in the corolla that's more powerful than our civic engine AND gets better gas mileage???

edit: ....and honda doesn't

damn stock civics are slow. atleast they look better then most cars out there. but an intake and an exhuast should get a civic in the Supra performace class, right?

What about a 318 series BMW?

I know it's old (I think like 97 or something). I beat one up yesterday.

I would be curious to see to see what a turbo civic could beat. I think we all know were dead meat to almost every new car on the road unless we have a turbo or engine swap.
