I Think Toyota Echo is Slow Then Theres The Hyundai Accent Then Theres Cars With Inadequite Power With The Wrong Equiptment. Plus Theres The Ford Shitus Opps I mean Focus. The Civic Beats That Were Previously Said By Me.

I beat my friends auto Si (canadian) 6th gen, and I don't know if you guys get the celica gt in the states but a civic can be that also over here they run 0-60 10.6 now thats depressing.
Im not totally stock but close enough. The AEM is the only thing I have, I didnt really drive the civic too long before it was on. But here is what I have beaten so far (not necessarily light to light, not a street racer, but more going along and punching it or stuff like that)
second gen 95-99 Saturn SL2
124hp DOHC
mid-late 90's Cavalier coupe
Saturn Ion.
-my friend just got one and had no chance, she had auto and I wasted her from a light.
Kia Spectra
Nissan Pathfinder
mid 90's Civic DX hatchback and EX coupe
1997 Civic LX sedan
1997 Accord Sedan
Jetta 2.0
1994 Mitsubishi Galant
mid 90's Eclipse GS, LSs
New Eclipse (non V-6)
late 90's Integra (low model)
second gen 95-99 Saturn SL2

mid-late 90's Cavalier coupe

My stock EX has taken:
'96 Mazda Protege (auto, 92 hp, that car is soooo slow)
'94 Toyota 4Runner (5spd, 150 hp, I think he had some engine probs.)
'94 Toyota Pickup (5spd, 150 hp, don't think kid knew how to drive)
'94 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 2.0 (auto, 135 hp, huge wing, and loud exhaust, happy kill)

Lots of cars are slower than a civic. You just need to stop racing from stoplight to stoplight. Race somehwhere where you have to take a few corners...you'll be happily suprised that you can out corner a lot of cars. Assuming your a decent driver.

i raced an svt f-150 one time.. he took me on the straights, but on the roundabouts, i was able to take him by 1½ car lengths..
look at the pic..

yeah, the civic is a pretty good car when it comes to cornering, the chassis is very composed, albeit the suspension stock is setup for comfort, its pretty easy to get it to go where you want it to. Ive raced cars on very twisty roads, some that were modified and some that were just MUCH faster than mine. I bet with a good rear sway bar, and some good tires, Ill be able to out-handle quite a few cars.

When I first got my car, I though it was a quick little thing. I could hear the tires chirp in 1st and 2nd gear. One day I was just sitting at a red light and lightly reving my engen (just cause its something I have a habit of doing because my old car, if it got down to idle, it killed) and there was this chevy tahoe. He reved onced and the light went green and off we went. After I had him by a car length, he was started to catch up I hit the breaks to make my turn. Thank God I did, the cops were a block away. Ever since, I relaize that, damn this car is pretty slow....
