I'm not aware of a full schematic.

you can run through the parts database schematics by system, and figure out what hose it is... or you can take a picture of it, or tell us what you want to do and maybe someone can help you out.

I believe that is the Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister hose

Ok follow the hose and if it meets up with a small 90 degree bent metal pipe that goes off to the drivers side of the engine bay, then that is the EVAP canister hose.

it might if your system is letting in false air, or leaking out

Did you cut through it? or just the top layer? It has a liner pipe inside the rubber hose, so you should be ok. If it bugs you, then get some rubber sealant and seal the cut up.

This is from the Honda Civic service manual

"The EVAP controls minimize the amount of fuel vapor escaping into the atmosphere. Vapor from the fuel tank is temporarily stored in the EVAP canister until it can be purged from the EVAP canister into the engine and burned."

Simply put, ever opened the gas cap in a car other than your civic? Hear that psssshhhhh sound? thats evaporated gas escaping from your fuel tank, the EVAP system simply catches that evaporated gas and stores it so it can be used as fuel later on. So the purpose of the EVAP system is to make use of the evaporated gas that would otherwise be lost.
