i guess it works, i have vtec vic, my friends tellme they can hear it when i floor it, like when the timing changes. i havnt really heard it. but i guess feel it from the reving, like at higher revs it engine sounds a lil different and accel seems to speed up a TAD. im not sure what you meant if it would work. or what do you want to compare it to? maybe a vvti? or there types of valve time? or even continouse?

Apexi makes a VAFC and VAFC-II They control your vtec enguagement points and you can remap your fuel by the individual 100rpm's...It is a nice fuel management system but if you do not have any serious mods i wouldn't waste your money...get a cam and then it's worth it...

i have the apex i vtec controller, it works but when you want that big kick, be ready to burn some gas. i had to tune mine down when gas prices went up

whats the non vtec air flow controller for the LX models? Is it the same price? And does it do the same thing, change the fuel mapping

Your thinking of the SAFC by apexi. You could use the VAFC in the same way, just dont hook up the vtec wires.
