Can anyone tell me if it really matters if your car is A/T or M/T, because I have auto and it says that they only have short ram but I don't want it. Does it really matter cause I don't know.
Just run a search on the site and TRUST ME!!! you'll find the answer. But to answer your question AEM only makes a SRI for 7th gen autos, if your looking for a CAI for your car you can go with Ingen or a generic ebay CAI.
i agree with the sound, but i think the power boost you felt was the placebo effect...intakes really don't do much other than sound. Yes, I thought I noticed a LITTLE bit more low-end torque, but I'm not claiming that not to be my imagination. I'd say get an ebay intake; worked great for me.
Yah but the difference between most peoples intake and mine is that i have a body kit that the filter hits exaclty with a grill so that i get forced fed induction straight into the filter... So i would have a significant boost so that i could feel it...

The CAI for autos didn't provide any better gain than the SRI--that's why AEM didn't even make one. Not worth it. Save your money for something else.
I have to agree with the above comments. I also have to add that I have a generic SRI with a AC Autotechnic filter, and that ish sounds tight. But in terms of gains I did notice a small gain in the top end.
