Question Just to make sure I get this right...

Hey everyone, I was reading a topic earlier about puttin headers on a '03 LX (which is what I own) and I just wanna make sure I have this figured out as to how I could do that and still keep it legal. Alright, so from what I gathered the necessary parts for this would be:

1)LX Kamikaze headers
2)Universal high flow cat,
3)An EX instead of an LX exhaust
4)EX sway bars

And after I buy all that and get it all installed I should have a perfectly legal LX with headers, right?

no, kamakazie is one of those header brands that arent legal for our cars. its illegal due to the high flow cat. its not really a cat at all, its really a bigger resonator. you might be able to make it legal if you dont put on the high flow cat and just get the shortty kamakazie headers. that or you can go with DC Sports, which does nothing for your car.

What's the point of getting a the header if you're going to add a cat anyway? One of the reasons why the Kamikaze header is so great IS the "cat" itself. I know that you want to stay legal and whatnot, but you have to decide if you want to take the performance route

azure is on a distinguished road
I say just get the Kamikaze header for your LX. Then when it comes time for inspection, put back the stock header and cat.
