Condenser out!!!

Well since my condenser doesn't work anyway because it got smashed to hell when I went over a very small speed bump that had a very deep pothole on the other side, I decided to go ahead and take it out whilst I had my bumper off to clear my corners in my headlights. If anyone else thinks to do this (why? I wouldn't know why you would WANT to do it...), make sure you use some kind of cover for the connectors that run from the condenser to the receiver/drier. You get moisture in there and you're A/C will never work again until you get a whole new A/C system including a new compressor. I just used some rubber nubbies...little boots that normall cover bulbs...should work. On the topic of corner lenses, if you live in Colorado, you don't have to have any orange/amber anywhere on the front of the car. Just has to be anywhere between white and amber. So I threw some hyper whites in the parking and turn signals .... that's 194 parking and 7443 turn signals....w0rd...pix to come soon.

it makes no difference whether you take it of or not some people say take it off you gain horsepower not true! it only draws when on so if your gonna race shut it off if you gonna cruise turn it on it hasnt hurt you any by taking it off dont worry about it. Did you paint the chrome black depending on the color of you car that looks better i was pleased on mine

White and silver civics look badass with black-housing headlights imo. I'm loving mine especially after getting the altezza grill.

Taking just the condenser out doesnt do anything no gains what so ever i agree with metalface20 that stripping the entire ac system out might save you a few pounds but just the condenser wont do anyting so you should just remove it all since you already took out the condenser rip it all out it womt work withouth the condenser anyway

I Have been working with engines for about five years now although i am new to the forign stuff if you were to remove every thing you could gain the use of 1 or 2 horspower rule of thumb for every 5 lbs you can eliminate you gain the use of 1 horsepower
